CRE BROKERS: DO THIS BEFORE 2025 ENDS

As 2025 comes to a close, most people are already racing ahead to next year.
But before you turn the page to 2026, I want you to pause for a moment and reflect on your year.
At The Massimo Group, this past year has been one of our strongest yet. Not just in terms of growth on our side, but in the real, measurable outcomes our clients produced in their own brokerage businesses.
In this week’s newsletter, I’m going to share three highlights from our year and, more importantly, use each one as a prompt for you to reflect on your own 2025.
(This will take no more than 5-10 minutes.) If you’re serious about making 2026 your best year yet, do not skip this.
#1: What’s Your Client Goal?
Our coaching clients are on track to earn more than $191 million in commissions this year (another banner year).
What stands out most isn’t just the total. It’s that many brokers crossed the seven-figure mark in 2025, several of them for the very first time. And that tells us something important.
Despite what people may have said, the market didn’t disappear. Opportunities didn’t dry up. The brokers who stayed focused, disciplined, and intentional found ways to win (and big).
Reflection Exercise: Your Client Wins
Take a minute and think about this year.
What’s one client-related win you’re genuinely proud of?
It could be a deal, a relationship you deepened, or a moment where you showed up at a higher level than before.
Now, use one word to describe how that win makes you feel.
Make it honest and emotional. Skip words like “fine” or “okay.”
#2: What’s Your Big Goal?
If you’ve been following along this year, you know we set out to do something ambitious.
We committed to creating the most impactful CRE brokerage event we’ve ever hosted.
That vision became reality on November 19th with the Global CRE Broker Virtual Summit.
It was a bold goal, and it wasn’t easy. However, the outcome was undeniable. Close to 1,000 brokers tuned in from across the U.S. and around the world. Sharp conversations, practical insights, and a raised standard were evident.
Big goals tend to do that. They stretch you. They force better thinking. And of course, they reveal what you’re capable of when you commit fully.
Reflection Exercise: Your Big Win
Think back on your year.
What was your big, bold win in 2025?
Maybe it was professional, like securing a defining listing or breaking into a new niche.
It may have been personal, such as creating more time for your family or reclaiming control over your schedule. And remember, that’s often the real reason people build a brokerage career in the first place.
Write it down.
Then, once again, capture how it made you feel in one word.
#3: What’s Your Personal Goal
This year also reinforced something I’ve seen time and time again.
When brokers invest in themselves personally, their business follows.
One of my personal goals this year was to continue going to the gym every morning and make healthier decisions. That commitment didn’t just improve my life outside of work. It made me sharper, more present, and more effective professionally.

What’s something personal you intentionally worked on this year that had a positive ripple effect on your brokerage?
It could be health, mindset, relationships, or structure.
Whatever it is, acknowledge it.
And again, summarize how you feel about it in one word.
Your Three Words for 2025
Now look at the three words you’ve written down.
Together, they tell a story about what mattered, what moved you forward, and what deserves to carry into 2026.
